To the Family of Evangelistic Center Church
This is a year of New Beginnings. I have been in prayer for the last few months about what direction God wants for our church family. God began to speak to me about coming together, unifying ourselves as a body. I began to see that we are one church yet we have two congregations in the same building. One meets at 8:30am and the other at 11:15am. A few might visit back and forth between them but the majorities have chosen what service is convenient for their schedule. We have been in this schedule for many years but I believe God is leading me to have us join back together again for a season to unite in one service. We have an awesome building with plenty of room in our 2nd floor sanctuary. We have over a 700 seat capacity with our balcony open. I am convinced that God is leading us to gather in the Upper Room for a visitation from the Holy Spirits power. I am fully assured a Fresh Fire is going to fall and many mighty miracles are going to take place. In the book of Acts we have a people that came together in one place and the Holy Spirit moved upon them. As we make these sacrifices in our schedule for coming together as a church family, we too will see a fresh fire fall upon our church. I know that we have all become accustom to the current schedule but I am asking all to make some small adjustments, to obey what the Spirit of God is telling me as your Pastor. As I have stated already there has been much prayer and pursuing Gods mind about this transition. Please join with me in expectation toward God as we anticipate what He is about to do. Starting June 8th our New Schedule will take effect. 9:00am – 9:45am (Breakfast and fellowship during summer months) (Sunday School starting in the fall) meet in the Dining Room 1st floor 10:00am (Worship in Upper Room) 2nd floor sanctuary. Let us come expecting a Fresh Move of the Holy Spirit in our midst.
