CAMP STANDLEE 2009 WAS AWESOME!

Camp Standlee is run entirely by volunteers from attending churches whose sole
purpose is to be a part of what God is doing in the lives of our youth. Along
with the fun, Camp Standlee is where lives are changed! It is a time for youth
to find direction and vision for their walk with God. It is our goal that each
and every life is touched during this week and the youth go back to their
individual churches, communities and friends on fire and excited about their
experience with the Lord Jesus Christ.
 We are pleased to have
Rev. Danny Dodge
as our speaker this year.
Danny Dodge has spent the last two decades making an impact in the development
of character in youth culture. Each year, he speaks to thousands of young
people. As an accomplished communicator, Danny brings messages of challenge,
hope, and inspiration that motivates and equips people to be the solution to
their world and excel in life. Danny has been recognized as the “Character
Coach” by the WGN Morning Show. Danny is the founder of IMPACT to Win and
Solving Life Inc., organizations dedicated to generate positive change in the
lives of students and our communities. He is also the Founder and Pastor of
Solutions Church, an innovative body of diverse believers and followers of
Christ that worship together in Illinois.

Worker/Counselor
Important Information:
The camp fee this year is
$150.00 for campers, counselors and workers. A
$25.00 deposit is required with your
application. Campers are also urged to bring spending money
as snack bar
purchases are not included in the camp price. Also, if you will be playing Paint
Ball, the balls must be purchased from the camp at $5.00 per 100 balls.
Check in time is from 12:00 PM to
5:00 PM Monday, July 5th. ALL CAMPERS MUST BE PICKED UP BY 11:00AM FRIDAY, July
9th. All fees for events are included in the price of camp. Campers should
bring extra money for candy, pop, food, etc. at the snack bar in the evenings.

Things to bring:
Sheets, pillow, blanket or sleeping
bag, wash cloths, towels, toilet articles, play clothes, robe, beach towel, swim
suit, clothes for chapel services (dress shorts allowed), light sweater or
jacket, Bible, notebook and pencil, camera (if desired), sun block, musical
instruments, sports equipment (ball glove, fishing pole). Mark each item with
your name, including clothes if possible! (lost and found at end of camp is
quite large)
Camp Rules:
-
There will be no cigarettes,
alcohol, drugs.

Campers must dress modestly. No
bikini (male/female), shorts must be no shorter than mid-thigh. Girls must
wear bras. Boys wear shirts except when participating in organized sports.

No one can leave camp without
permission from the Director.

No destruction of property.
-
No one is allowed to stay
overnight unless registered or special permission given by the Camp
Director.

No one may swim without signed
permission on application.
-
DO NOT bring expensive watches,
rings, keepsakes, etc. to camp! Campers are responsible for their own
valuables.
